Virtual Appointments
As a new patient, we're committed to making your experience smooth and effective.
Before your first virtual appointment, we'll assist you in completing any necessary paperwork and guide you through the setup process for our secure telehealth platform. To ensure a seamless session, we recommend testing your internet connection and familiarizing yourself with the interface beforehand.
Please complete the necessary intake forms in the patient portal 24 hours before the appointment and have any relevant medical records, insurance information, and a list of medications readily available for our discussion during the initial visit.
Cancellation Policy
At Jumelle Health, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, causing appointment changes. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within this timeframe enable us to accommodate other patients needing care. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $25.00 cancellation fee for in-person and virtual appointments. We value your commitment to your mental health journey and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a schedule that supports all our patients' needs.
No-Show Policy
At Jumelle Health, we prioritize the well-being of all our patients. Missed appointments without prior notification impact not only your progress but also the opportunity for others to receive timely care. A $75.00 no-show fee will be incurred for in-person and virtual appointments missed without a minimum of 24 hours' notice. We understand unforeseen circumstances occur; however, consistent no-shows hinder our ability to provide quality care to all. Your commitment to attending scheduled appointments ensures optimal support for your mental health journey and respects the needs of fellow patients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in upholding our no-show policy.
Late Arrival Policy
At Jumelle Health, to ensure that all patients receive the full benefit of their scheduled appointment and to maintain the smooth operation of our practice, we have established a late arrival policy. This policy is designed to respect the time of both our patients and our clinicians. Patients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to allow for any unforeseen delays. If a patient anticipates being late, they should notify the practice as soon as possible by calling (984) 301-8178 or emailing moc.htlaehellemuj%40tcatnoc. If more than half of the appointment is missed due to lateness, the clinician will decide whether to proceed with a shorter appointment or to reschedule the appointment. This decision will be based on the clinician's discretion and the availability of subsequent appointments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in upholding our late policy.

Mental Health Evaluation(New Patient)
Your first appointment with the provider is a comprehensive assessment to gather detailed information about your psychological history, symptoms, and concerns to develop an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.
For ADHD diagnosis, we utilize the QbCheck, an FDA-approved diagnostic test for ADHD. This test is completed at home using a laptop or PC and costs an additional $154. A laptop or Mac equipped with a built-in webcam and an Intel i3 processor or higher, along with a reliable internet connection (either Wi-Fi or cable) is required. An installed Firefox or Google Chrome web browser is also necessary. Please note that Chromebooks, tablets, and cell phones are not suitable for this evaluation.
QbCheck for ADHD
FDA-approved diagnostic testing for ADHD. The latest medical technology to more accurately diagnose ADHD. Access to a laptop or Mac equipped with a built-in webcam and an Intel i3 processor or higher, along with a reliable internet connection (either Wi-Fi or cable). An installed Firefox or Google Chrome web browser is also necessary. Please note that Chromebooks, tablets, and cell phones are not suitable for this evaluation.
Talk Therapy
Engage in a supportive and confidential environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Our talk therapy sessions are designed to help you manage stress, overcome challenges, and improve your overall mental well-being. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or life transitions, we're here to guide you toward a healthier mindset.
Mental Health Follow-Up
Utilized to monitor progress, address challenges, adjust the plan as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation. *If you are taking a controlled substance, you have to be seen monthly for prescription refills.
Health & Wellness Appointment(New Patient)
An in-depth evaluation involving medical history, and weight loss goal setting to establish a baseline and develop a tailored weight loss plan that includes dietary, exercise, and behavioral strategies.
Health & Wellnes Follow-Up
Utilized to monitor progress, address challenges, adjust the plan as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation.

Before your appointment, we encourage you to contact our office or verify directly with your insurance provider to ensure coverage for telepsychiatry services. We are committed to assisting you in navigating the insurance process and can provide guidance regarding coverage, copayments, and any out-of-pocket expenses. In cases where insurance coverage may not apply, we also offer self-payment options to ensure that quality behavioral health care remains accessible.
